Jill Johnson MS.

KKW Coach

Jill has been an avid athlete from the age of 10, swimming year-round through the Ohio YMCA program, then finishing her swimming career at Norwich University as a NCAA All American in the 200 Butterfly.  Jill earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication in 1999 and was commissioned in the United States Army, where she served eight years as a commissioned officer.  She transitioned out of the Army in 2007 and began a new career working for the government in Human Relations.  She later earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2010.

During her twenties to mid-thirties, Jill found the love of running and triathlon training as her way to stay active and compete against the clock to meet her athletic goals.  Jill started to focus on eating healthier to maintain her nutritional needs as she trained for marathons, half-marathons, and triathlons.

By her mid to late thirties, with the help of her husband to acknowledge her true body type, she started to focus more on weight training. She found a love for moving weights and noticed changes in her physique in a short amount of time with consistent training and nutrition.  It took her fifteen years to finally figure out the connection of consistent healthy nutrition and achieving the body composition she always wanted.

This new realization turned Jill’s hobby of reading about nutrition into the pursuit of earning her Master of Science in Nutrition Education from American University in 2020.  Through this process she better recognized the need for mind body connection for a successful relationship with food. She understands the behavioral science and basic habit adjustments to educate and guide others to their “Best You.”

In 2021, she set out to naturally (only using nutrition, exercise, and desire) compete in her first body building competition.  She placed 2nd in Women’s Physique, which qualified her for her first national show in August 2022, placing 4th and 5th in Women’s Physique.

In 2022, Jill obtained her NASM Personal Training Certification, combining her love of nutrition to a well-rounded knowledge base to guide others.

In her free time, Jill enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.  She is a foodie and loves cooking clean, healthy meals that her family will devour!
