HOW LIFE HAS CHANGED

In 10 months, I've lost almost 40 pounds and 37 inches, the same size as a child! I've learned so much about food, how to calculate macros and stay consistent. I have more energy, I workout more often, I sleep better, and I can fit into clothes I haven't been able to wear in years. I no longer depend on alcohol to ease my anxiety, wash away my problems, or to become a "necessity" when attending social events. My life has completely changed for the better!

WHY WAS OUR MODEL DIFFERENT FROM OTHER ATTEMPTS?

It truly isn't a gimmick like other plans or programs I have tried. It literally teaches you to eat healthy, whole foods, and WHY that is the best method and gives you tons of resources and help along the way. People often ask me how I've dropped so much weight. I say "I eat really healthy foods and workout a lot..go figure."

THEIR STORY

I didn't do the book or a challenge, but the Facebook page it amazing. I use it for inspiration when I need it, to help others who ask questions, and to access the thousands of resources it has! Especially the recipes!

Food used to be an afterthought for me, almost a chore that had to be completed each day, so I gave it little thought and thus little effort. Now, I am deliberate with what I choose to put in my body. I plan it weekly, I prepare it and I enjoy every last bite of it!  I finally started praising my body for all it had accomplished and am rewarding it with healthy and delicious food!  My goals when starting coaching were to wear (proudly) a two piece bathing suit, to have more energy, and to be able to sleep on my back again. Silly to some, but what I needed. I have accomplished ALL THREE!

WHY WAS OUR MODEL DIFFERENT FROM OTHER ATTEMPTS?

This model of health has taught me it is ok to EAT!  I have tried everything and end up starving by the end of the day. Never once have I been so hungry or nutrition deprived that I wanted to binge eat.

WEIGHT LOSS

My goal when I signed up for coaching was to lose weight, and this time, keep it off.  I was in coaching for ten months and I lost 18 pounds and 18 inches.  That is what I lost, but what I gained was even more important - balance!  Over ten months I learned balance through birthday celebrations, holidays, travel and vacations.

You know that person that you always see at the gym but they never seem to lose any weight?  That was me.  I love working out and never missed a gym day, yet I was almost always overweight.

I always knew what to do, but after decades of stopping and starting, I made the decision to hire a coach to guide me through a year of real life, with all of its ups and downs. Knowing my coach was in my corner and that she was always a call or a text away to help me, to guide me, to encourage me was invaluable.  When I had a misstep, she was always right there to help me reframe my thoughts and encourage me to keep going.

WEIGHT LOSS

So far, I have lost 33.8 pounds, am fitting back into my pants, I have found a new passion for meal prepping with single ingredient foods, and I am becoming even more active than I already was!

 With the help of my coach, I have learned what is healthy and sustainable for me and have never felt like I am depriving myself which makes this a lifestyle I can adopt!

This model was different because I had a person to go to with my questions and for support.  This program also focuses not just on the scale but so many other non-scale victories that even if my weight was up, I didn’t feel like a failure.
