It is rare that I see someone with such focus, level-headed thinking, and clarity on goals. Some have those qualities in their work lives or other areas of their lives, though it is far less common that they apply those same strengths to their personal health and wellness. Meaghan is doing just that! She's down 38# and still trekking.
I'm so grateful to currently assist her as she continues with her journey AND marathon training - it has been fun to be part of that and keep her well-fueled! I cannot say enough about what she has done to create the foundation of single-ingredient foods before beginning her training specific to the marathon. Her running times and distances continue to improve, and she tackles each new and longer distance each with her continued positive attitude.
Meaghan reflects, "I've been told I have more will-power than other people they have met. I don't think that is really true, will-power only gets you so far. I think it is more determination to reach my goals. Once I've decided something I aim to achieve my goals. I can sometimes be regimented about my plans, but I've learned to be flexible in this lifestyle and how to adjust when things don't work out as planned. In the last year I've learned so much about how to better fuel my body and I feel better and look better than I have in 15 years. Honestly, I'm happier with how I feel and look than any time in my life."
