Kelly Killen

is a Certified Wellness Coach assessing client's wellness and nutrition needs by using the principles of applied behavior analysis. By modifying eating behaviors, Kelly sets in motion lifestyle adjustments that improve the lives of her clients. Kelly has been a coach and fitness enthusiast since 1999 and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst licensed with the Virginia Board of Medicine since 2009. Coach Kelly also holds an advanced diploma in Nutrition.

With the lifestyle of living fit and competing since 1999, Kelly attained her professional status in natural bodybuilding in 2012 with the IFPA. She has helped numerous clients achieve their personal fitness and nutrition goals through assessments and monthly contracting. Her passion with nutrition and her license to practice behavioral science allow her the opportunity to change lives daily.

Kelly Killen launched KK Wellness Consulting in 2014, and has worked in the human services field for over 25 years. Kelly holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and is licensed through the Virginia Board of Medicine as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Kelly is also a former pro figure competitor, with over twenty years of experience in figure and physique competition. Kelly’s unique combination of professional skills and athletic achievement enables her and her team at KKW to provide their clients a healthy and sustainable long-term solution for weight loss and weight management.

Rob Killen

Rob Killen is a Holistic Health and Wellness Life Coach who transforms the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of his clients through the Peace Benefits principles. Rob developed and patented the Peace Benefits after realizing there was a universal need for a more comprehensive model and approach in helping people improve in all dimensions of wellness.

Rob got his professional start by serving his country in the United States Air Force, where he was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal for helping make the Reese Air Force Base Athletic Program one of the most effective and successful in the Air Force.

For the past twenty-six years Rob has held managerial positions for many high-profile companies in the health and wellness industry, including Nautilus, the Army Navy Country Club and Gym Source. Rob has an extensive background in building 7-figure businesses from the ground up. Rob sold his last business interest in 2019 to pursue his passion of helping others improve their lives through the Peace Benefits.

Rob holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Wayland Baptist University, and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from George Mason University. Rob is a Certified Life Coach and Certified Career Transitions Coach through the Coach Training Alliance, a Certified Personal Trainer and Behavior Change Specialist through the American Council on Exercise, a Certified Nutrition Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and is certified in the Emotional Quotient-Inventory EQ-i 2.0®, the world’s leading assessment tool used for evaluating and measuring emotional and social intelligence. Rob won several bodybuilding titles in the early-mid 90s, culminating with winning the middleweight division at the 1994 Mid-USA Championships.

Jodi Sheakley-Wright, PhD

LEAD COACH

A certified Health & Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches, Jodi feels fortunate to support others in achieving their personal goals. Jodi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and economics in 1995 from the University of Pittsburgh. In her days as a college athlete, Jodi connected with the idea that solid nutrition forms the cornerstone of achieving and maintaining excellent health, including the importance of developing a healthy relationship with food.

These discoveries led to her pursuing and earning master's and doctorate degrees in nutrition at Clayton College in Birmingham, AL. Jodi has been active her entire life, beginning with dance at age five. With her love for fitness and over two decades of strength training experience, she earned professional status as a natural figure competitor in 2016. She enjoys the thrills of competing and digging deep to reach beyond what she once thought possible. Jodi is also grateful to be a living kidney donor and to have grown closer with her recipient and family.

She continues to serve as a volunteer and advocate for organ transplantation. Jodi is excited about supporting others as they reach beyond their comfort zones to improve wellbeing, find balance, and find overall life satisfaction. She believes in the power of surrounding oneself with a strong TEAM for optimal guidance and support. Others have graciously helped me to get out of my own way, and I love helping others experience similar joys!

Chelsey Creswell

LEAD COACH

Chelsey has been involved in the wellness and fitness lifestyle for over 20 years. She grew up in Southern California and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also a Registered Nurse. Prior to becoming a nurse, she was a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Licensed Massage Therapist.

At the end of 2015 she decided to fulfill a lifelong dream and compete on the bodybuilding stage. She competed 3 times in 2016 and had the opportunity to win her professional status as a natural WNBF figure competitor. Chelsey chose KKW to coach her to this WIN. 

Chelsey combines education in nutrition with her clinical experience to educate her clients on how food truly affects the body. She passionately believes that food is medicine and when used properly is the strongest catalyst for good health on this earth.

Kayla Hartline

COACH

Growing up, nutrition and exercise were important values in Kayla’s life. Once in college, she realized she wanted to do more with her passion for fitness and became an NASM certified personal trainer in 2014.

 

Kayla also holds a diploma in advanced nutrition and fitness.  Kayla has helped numerous clients reach their personal goals through exercise and nutrition services.

 

In addition, as a Psychology graduate, she will incorporate nutrition with health psychology and continue working in the field of health and fitness as she pursues future certifications with an emphasis on nutrition and disordered eating. She is passionate about providing clients with lifestyle choices to better their health and overall well-being.

Brandy Flotten

Brandy is a mother of 2 teenage boys and a military spouse. Brandy’s full-time profession was engineering where she worked as a civilian Program Manager for the US Navy for 24 years. At the same time, she also fueled her passion for fitness by becoming a fitness professional and attaining her Group Exercise and Personal Trainer certifications. She is committed to a healthy, balanced and active lifestyle and loves teaching, encouraging and inspiring others to do the same.

Amongst her various graduate degrees (Mechanical Engineering and Program Management), Brandy is also an ACE Certified Group Exercise Instructor and Personal Trainer and holds a Fitness Nutrition Certification. Brandy is a Fitness Specialist at Chesapeake Regional Hospital and teaches regularly at various gyms. Brandy has competed in several natural bodybuilding competitions and was honored to receive her Pro Status as an OCB Figure Competitor in May 2017.

She is passionate about her faith, family and fitness and strives to find a balance in this crazy busy-ness of life. Her hope is to help others with their own journey of balancing health and wellness!

Lauren Blevins

COACH

As a registered nurse, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Radford University, Lauren sees the value of fighting chronic diseases with nutrition and overall health and wellness. While working as an RN, Lauren became a KK Wellness client herself. She quickly discovered how life changing behavioral coaching is, and knew anyone, her patients included, can also benefit immensely from the same form of coaching. Lauren developed a longing to help others become the healthiest versions of themselves, both physically and mentally, leading her to become a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Coach from Precision Nutrition and Spencer Institute. Her passion lies in helping her clients shift their mindset and behaviors centered around self perception, nutrition awareness, and sustainable lifestyle changes. 

 

Lauren is originally from Richmond, VA. While travel nursing, she landed a contract in Nashville, TN, where she fell in love (with the city and her boyfriend) and decided to lay down roots. In her free time, Lauren enjoys cuddles from her boyfriend and pup, cooking and trying new foods, working out, attending Nashville’s live music venues, and hiking the local trails. Lauren is excited to meet you and help you discover your healthy and happy balance!

Kelsey Robarts

For over fifteen years, Kelsey has been passionate about fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. An avid figure skater from childhood through college, Kelsey spent the majority of her free time training for her sport, and knew at a young age that she wanted to have a career in the field. As a result, after graduating Marshall University with Bachelor's in Sports Management and Marketing, she pursued her dream of helping others and became a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association.

 

She is experienced in individual as well as group personal training and loves motivating her clients to reach their greatest potential. After the birth of Kelsey and her husband's daughter, it became more important to her to not only implement fitness into her daily life, but nutrition as well, not just for her well-being but also her family's. As a result, Kelsey received her Level 1 Sport and Exercise Nutrition certification through Precision Nutrition. Throughout the years, Kelsey has learned that nutrition and exercise go hand in hand, and feels very passionate in teaching others the importance of both, and what a wonderful life you can live when you are actively living a healthy lifestyle. Kelsey will be a coach on the subscription page, conduct Fit 3D assessments and interpretations, and provide one time custom nutrition and workout plans. She will also coach in the challenges we have online.

Laurie Hall

Coach

At the age of 54, Laurie competed in her first bodybuilding show and won her pro status. When asked what was the most difficult part of her journey to stage - the nutrition or the workouts - she said, “Neither. The hardest part was learning to prioritize myself and my goals. It was a daily struggle to give myself the time and attention I gave to others. It was uncomfortable, but I knew it was the only way I was going to get where I wanted to be.” 

 

An active member of the KKW community since 2018, Laurie has participated in many of its programs and services. Most recently, she participated in KKW’s Prepping for Power, setting a Virginia state record in deadlift in the women aged 55-59 category. 

 

Laurie’s lifestyle change inspired her to study nutrition at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. In addition to earning her Health Coach certification, she holds an Honors degree in English literature, and certifications in technical writing and group exercise instruction.

 

Laurie has four children and has lived in Canada, Mexico, Peru, and the US. She understands firsthand how the demands of work and family can put clients at the bottom of their to-do list, and she believes that learning to make yourself a priority is key to achieving and maintaining a healthy weight and lifestyle, at any age.

LaKeisha Kanen

COACH

LaKeisha Kanen is a Navy Veteran, a wife, and mother of two. Determined to reclaim her body and health, she fell in love with fitness by becoming active and health conscious after the birth of her second daughter. She grew up in a family that believed in growing their own foods, and as a result, has become an advocate of educating and inspiring others of the benefits of whole foods, particularly when it comes to prevention and reversal of diseases such as Type 2 diabetes.

In 2012, she took a chance and entered an online body transformation challenge. Surprised at her top 5 placing, she continued to challenge herself and soon entered her first competitive bodybuilding competition. Soon after, in 2014, she earned her competitive pro status in women’s physique. Recently, she entered her first powerlifting contest, and set several North Carolina state records for women age 40-44.

 

Looking back, she wants to help other moms get “off of the couch” and back into the world so that they can set healthy examples for their children. She holds a certification in Fitness Nutrition through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and plans to seek a second bachelor’s degree in dietetics. Her favorite mantra is “No Pressure…No Diamonds” which means that one must put themselves into a position to be challenged in order to reveal the beauty and strength within.

Jennifer Ratcliffe

COACH

Jennifer has a passion for using healthy lifestyles to promote personal health and wellness as well as prevent and combat the onset of chronic diseases such as obesity, type II diabetes, and heart disease in a proactive manner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from William and Mary and her Master of Science in Nutrition Education from American University. 

 

Through her studies and experience, Jennifer learned not only the physiology of nutrition for optimum health, but also studied the science of behavior change to better understand how to help people make sustainable lifestyle changes in nutrition and physical activity. 

 

During graduate school, she worked as a personal trainer to practice her coaching and educational techniques.  She can’t wait to help you on your journey of learning about what a healthy lifestyle means and how and why it can impact your long-term health and quality of life.  In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her husband and two dogs, and training for various athletic events such as Tough Mudder, Spartan, and marathon races

Heather Unger

COACH

 

 A certified Integrative Nutrition & Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), Heather believes our best physical selves are made possible not just with food, but with the things we choose to be a part of and surround ourselves with, day in and day out.  She has a passion for empowering clients to feel confident in their unique body, and equip them with the lifestyle tools that support and empower them to put their health first in a way that feels good. Heather earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design in 2007 from Virginia Tech, but her lifestyle always centered around health & wellness.

 

 

Throughout her schooling, she was always passionate about nutrition and was an avid runner. She also became interested in interval training and weight lifting and received her NASM-CPT in the Fall of 2018. Through her own personal inner and outer transformation, she found less restriction and more mindfulness around food to be the most effective tool for reaching sustainable results. She has an enthusiasm for gut health, and believes optimal physical, emotional & mental well-being starts there. She believes your best self is not an end goal, but a never ending pursuit to be built upon, and that when you retrain your mind your body will follow."

Ann Marie Iannone

As a certified health and wellness coach through Precison Nutrition and Spencer Institute, Ann Marie is proud to provide the services KKW has to offer.

With an extensive background and many years in Dental specializing in Oral Surgery and Periodontics, she knows the importance of Oral and total Health, and the value of nourishing our bodies beginning with the foods we eat.

 

Originally from Florida, she is a proud mother to a three year old boy, and wife of an active duty Navy service member. She understands the pressure and demands of being a military spouse, and how to balance family while keeping personal wellness a priority.

 

Ann Marie herself came to join KKW several years ago after becoming a first time mom, and achieved results that exceeded her own expectations. She has been living the lifestyle ever since, and has turned her passion for success into  helping others achieve their wellness goals.

Amanda Turner

COACH

Amanda is a graduate of Integrative Nutrition where she became a certified health and nutrition coach. She has always had a passion for health and fitness and continues to stay active and lives a healthy lifestyle while being a busy mother of two, wife, and business owner. 

 

 Amanda has been a hairdresser for 21 years and salon owner for 15 years. She has always loved talking with her clients about their health and nutrition and finds joy in being able to help people on a deeper level. She has had much success in her short time coaching, seeing many transformations and helping her clients to live healthier lives.

 

Having been an athlete all her life, Amanda has completed half marathons, the Spartan Race, and has ridden horses competitively since age 11. Recently she competed in Natural Body Building Competitions, where her real interest in nutrition began.

 

The process was fascinating to her and ultimately inspired her to make this a career. She was a client of KK Wellness during her competition season and continued working with them for behavioral coaching post-competition to learn all she could about continuing a healthy lifestyle. She has been forever changed with the help of her health coaches and is dedicated to helping her clients in the same way.

 

Amanda is a Behavioral Nutrition Coach with KK Wellness. She provides her 1:1 clients tools to make permanent behavioral changes to sustain weight loss in a balanced whole foods approach.

Rachael Higginbotham 

COACH

Rachael is a native of Wisconsin and has been living in Virginia for 20 years as a military wife. She is also a mother to 6 children.

 

She has been a fitness enthusiast most of her life beginning at a young age with competitive swimming. After starting her family and juggling motherhood and a deployed husband, Rachael realized the significance self-care and nutrition had on her overall health. Hungry for a healthier lifestyle, she joined a KK Wellness challenge in January of 2017.

 

Through this challenge, Rachael learned the importance of proper nutrition using balanced whole-food options. The self-confidence and healthy body image gained through her experiences solidified her desire to empower other women and men to gain the same life changing benefits.

 

Rachael earned her certificate as a Nutrition coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is currently studying at Spencer Institute for her Wellness coaching certificate. Through proper nutrition and support from her coach Kelly Killen she competed in her first competitive body building competition. She has a new-found love for powerlifting and has competed at a RAW Powerlifting Federation competition.

 

Rachael aspires to help people become the best version of themselves! She holds a safe place for her clients and desires for them to reach their highest wellness potential by providing education, encouragement and empowerment through evidence-based holistic approaches.

Ginny Bishop

COACH

Building on her passion for fitness, Ginny decided to become more well-rounded in the industry and improve her knowledge of wellness and nutrition.  She obtained her NASM Personal Training Certification as well as her NASM Nutrition Certification.  She has worked as a personal trainer for several years and has also competed in several bodybuilding competitions, earning her pro-card during her first round of competitions. 

With a competitive nature, Ginny believes that “anything can be accomplished if you set goals, plan, and implement the behaviors that need to take place to achieve those goals!”

Living outside of Richmond, Virginia, Ginny is married with two school-aged children.  Her family loves to snow ski during the winter months.  

 

She also loves involving her kids in the kitchen and teaching them the value of healthy foods.  With a degree in Interior Design, her background in art has carried over into her creativity in the kitchen.  Ginny loves trying new products, coming up with new recipes, and creating healthy, well-balanced and aesthetically-pleasing dishes.  She also enjoys making *fun and exciting* lunches for her kids!
